Start with the basics of usernames and seller listings, then explore the OGU marketplace and tools.
What is an OG username?
People often use "OG username" for a short, memorable or distinctive social media handle. The label is informal: it does not prove when an account was created, who owns it or what it is worth.
Usernames and display names
A username identifies a profile on a particular platform. A display name is the name shown on that profile. The same handle can belong to different people on different platforms, so check both the username and the platform on a listing.
Reading a marketplace listing
An asking price is the seller's requested price, not evidence of a completed sale. Check availability, the description and the named seller's contact details. Do not treat a badge, public contact or an unverified historical entry as proof of ownership, reputation or sale value.
