What is an OG username?

“OG username” is an informal label for a short, memorable or distinctive handle. It does not by itself prove account age, ownership, availability or value.

Check the exact username and profile link. A display name can be different, and the same text on another platform can belong to someone else.

Read what is actually being offered.

Start with the platform, exact handle, listing type, description and named contact. Separate a seller’s asking price from an evidenced completed sale.

Confirm whether the offer concerns a username, an account-related service or something else. A listing is not proof of ownership. Review the platform’s rules and the scope of the offer before making an agreement.

Keep control of your account.

Never send a seller your password, session cookie, recovery code or one-time login code. Check link destinations carefully and keep records of the agreed terms.

OGU and platform verification are different. A badge is not a guarantee that an offer is safe, that a transfer is permitted, or that a service will produce a specific result.
